Summary
Some curios appear here, including the way that routine testing may disclose aberrant nerve pathways such as the Martin–Gruber anastomosis or an anomalous deep peroneal nerve. Clinical examples are provided. The axon-reflex or A-wave is described. The chapter concludes with a discussion of EMG anomalies in which neuropathy may masquerade as myopathy and, conversely, how myopathy may masquerade as neuropathy.
