Summary
The masterful artisan responsible for the triptych from Saint-Sulpice-sur-Tarn carved many of the most beautiful Gothic ivories around the year 1300. This artisan organized a small neighbourhood-based community of carvers who responded to the commissions of leading patrons from church and court.
