My very Good Lord.

When I writt last to my Lord Deputy, you had had an Answer to your Letters of November 2 but that I was cutt so shorte in tyme, as that it was then noe way possible for mee to write. Now my Lord I thanke you for your Good Newes, That your Diocesse being in the middest of the Scotch Plantations hath beene all this while soe quiet. I doubt it would hardly have Continued soe, if you had not Cast out the Young Prophetesse. For her Marriage since, let it fall out, as it may; but if her Husband should chance to pervert her, what would the Brethren say then?

I am very sorry to heare what you write Concerning the Bishop of Kilmore. For if it be true, he hath Certainly brought himselfe in greate danger of the Law. But I will keepe it in Silence, as you desire, till I heare farther Certaynty from you. And if it be his Melancholy that hath brought him to it, he had neede pray against it as you doe. As for his Leases I have taken notice of itt, and written fairely to him aboute it. The Letter you shall finde here inclosed. And it is with an Open flying Seale. So you may reede the Letter, and either Burne itt, if you like it not: Or if you like it, one drop of waxe will fasten the Seale, and soe you may deliver it. So to Gods Blessed protection I leave you and rest
