Dear Marce:—

Merry Xmas to you and Sterling and all your outfit! You were very sweet to write Pauline in hospital and send presents and she would have answered if she could—But was on her back—She will write you and is very grateful. I should have written but was finishing book and between that and hospital no could do— Then the joys of travelling with new born child etc— You probably know them—

Hope every thing goes well with you— Splendid weather here— Greg weighs 11 lbs 6 oz—not fat just big— Pat well— Pauline now too— Carol expected here today or tomorrow—

Best to you and Sterling and your children from Pauline andme and all of us
