Summary
[Excerpt as quoted in book:]
Have you done any shooting this fall? I’ve just had a week of quail in Arkansas, after finishing my book. If I could write as well as I can shoot sometimes—boy! what literature we’d have. One double in thick brush— followed them out of a cornfield—the one ahead and to the left, the other all the way back and over my right shoulder, shooting the gun with no chance to get it to the shoulder, and swinging it as you would swing a pitchfork. Boy!
