Henricus, Dei gratia rex Angliae et Franciae et dominus Hiberniae, custodi spiritualitatis episcopatus Bathonensis et Wellensis ipso episcopo in remotis agente, salutem. Quia de avisamento et assensu concilii nostri pro quibusdam arduis et urgentibus negotiis nos statum et defensionem regni nostri Angliae ac Ecclesiae Anglicanae concernentibus, quoddam parliamentum apud Westmonasterium vicesimo primo die Ianuarii proximo fiituro [21 January 1510] teneri ordinavimus ibidem vobiscum et cum ceteris praelatis, magnatibus et proceribus dicti regni nostri colloquium habere et tractatum, vobis in fide et dilectione quibus nos tenemini, firmiter iniungendo mandamus quod consideratis dictorum negotiorum arduitate et periculis imminentibus, cessante excusatione quacunque, dictis die et loco personaliter intersitis nobiscum ac cum praelatis, magnatibus et proceribus praedictis super dictis negotiis tractaturi, vestrumque consilium impensuri. Et hoc sicut nos et honorem nostrum ac salvationem et defensionem regni et ecclesiae praedictorum, expeditionemque dictorum negotiorum diligitis, nullatenus omittatis. Praemunientes priorem et capitulum Bathonensem, necnon decanum et capitulum ecclesiae Wellensis, ac archidiaconos totumque clerum eiusdem diocesis quod iidem prior, decanus et archidiaconi in propriis personis suis ac dicta capitula et eorum alterum per unum, idemque clerus per duos procuratores idoneos plenam et sufficientem potestatem ab ipsis priore, decano et capitulo divisim habentes, praedictis die et loco personaliter intersint ad consentiendum his quae tune ibidem de communi consilio dicti regni nostri, divina favente dementia, contigerit ordinari. Teste meipso apud Westmonasterium decimo septimo die Octobris anno regni nostri primo [17 October 1509].

[70b] Richardus, permissione divina Londoniensis episcopus venerabili viro Magistro Rogero Church decretorum doctori, reverendi in Christo patris et domini Domini Hadriani, tituli Sancti Chrysogoni presbyteri cardinalis, ecclesiaeque cathedralis Bathonensis et Wellensis episcopi,5 ipso reverendo patre absente et in remotis agente, vicario in spiritualibus generali, salutem, gratiam et benedictionem. Literas reverendissimi in Christo patris et domini Domini Willelmi, permissione divina Cantuariensis archiepiscopi, totius Angliae primatis et apostolicae sedis legati, noveritis nos cum ea qua decuit reverentia nuper recepisse verborum sequentium sub tenore:

Willelmus, permissione divina Cantuariensis archiepiscopus, totius Angliae primas et apostolicae sedis legatus, venerabili fratri nostro Richardo, Dei gratia Londoniensi episcopo salutem et fraternam in Domino caritatem.
