Summary
Defined as a blood glucose of less than 4mmol/L, hypoglycaemia, if left untreated, can cause accidents, fits, permanent brain damage or even death. While exploring risk factors for development of this metabolic state, readers are given schema for treating both mild to moderate and severe hypoglycaemia.
