Published online by Cambridge University Press: 07 September 2011
Summary
This part undertakes a more detailed description of the phenomena of Dutch syntax, without entering into theoretical discussions. The purpose of these chapters is to provide a reference section on Dutch syntax which does full justice to the facts and will hopefully be useful to a wide variety of linguistic researchers.
The topics covered here include the structure of clauses (chapter 4), nominal and prepositional phrases (chapter 5), and complex sentences (chapter 6), as well as the expression of syntactic dependencies (chapter 7).
