United States
The USA Working group aims to develop and promote standards and best practices in ethics, humanities, and arts education in the health professions. To this end, they have created Bioethics Education Resources (BEdR) www.bedr.education. BEdR will equip educators from varied disciplinary backgrounds and expertise with the resources and training for a scholarly approach to teaching ethics, humanities, and the arts in the health professions and to make contributions to the scholarship of teaching and learning. BEdR includes a collection of open-source peer-reviewed reaching resources and a webinar series. Dr. Marin Gillis is the founding USA working group director and also serves the Cambridge Consortium for Bioethics Education as Director of International Academic Affairs.
