Resumen

Comunicamos el caso de un paciente depresivo de 68 años que desarrolló trombocitopenia grave durante la hospitalización. Se ilustran la trombocitopenia asociada a EDTA y la trombocitopenia inducida por psicofármacos como causas potenciales de recuentos bajos de plaquetas, particularmente en relación con pacientes psiquiátricos.
