Original manuscripts are sought to the special issue on “Advanced Direct Drive Laser Driven Fusion Research and Technology” of High Power Laser Science and Engineering (HPLSE).
The goal of this article collection is to present the newest achievements in the Advanced Direct Drive Laser Fusion Campaigns in recent years worldwide.
The scope of this special issue is to highlight the cutting-edge developments on Advanced Direct Drive Laser Fusion Facilities, Advanced Direct Drive Laser Technology, and Advanced Direct Drive Laser Fusion Physics Research.
The topics to be addressed here are, but not limited to:

- Advanced Direct Drive laser physics experiments
- Advanced Direct Drive laser technology developments
- Advanced Direct Drive laser fusion diagnostic technologies
