Food and Menu Labelling
This collection on food labelling includes research on the efficacy of warning labels on front of food packages, online supermarkets and labelling of foods on menus in restaurants and workplaces. Evaluations investigated the understanding of label messages by consumers, perceived healthiness of foods and drinks and food choice. Nutrients and food types included in the research are trans-fats, sugary drinks, breakfast cereals and meals served in restaurants. Perspectives from different stake holders such as health professionals, food retailers and trade associations and policy implications are also covered.
