In the framework of assistance for Japan, the ACTIFLORAD project for liquid wastedecontamination mobilized over 200 AREVA collaborators and 47 people who led their missionin the damaged site. Led between May 18th and July 6th, 2011, the French mission aimed atsupervising the ACTIFLORAD process building and assisting Japanese teams in performing it.The post-accidental situation and emergency led to setting up a radiation protectionorganization in agreement with French regulation as well as integrated into the Japaneseorganization. This text establishes a testimony of the everyday life of the mission andits preliminary preparation.
