Government and Opposition is delighted to celebrate a new home as this edition marks our first with our new publisher, Cambridge University Press. The move to Cambridge reflects the growth and success of the journal in recent years. At the journal, we have sought to maintain our reputation for rigorous scholarship at the same time as keeping a wide-reaching but accessible brief in comparative politics.
The move to the new publisher offers us a chance for a new look in terms of the journal's design. We have also taken this opportunity to change some of our requirements. Recognizing both the value and difficulty of multi-case comparative work, we have extended the maximum length for submissions for articles that are multi-case. In addition, we have adopted the Harvard referencing system to bring us in line with what we see as the emerging standard for referencing in political science journals.
After 48 years of successful publication, Government and Opposition is looking forward to working with Cambridge for the continued success of the journal and for quality comparative politics scholarship.
