Additionally, three errors were detected in the reference list.

All references to de Rijke et al. (2015) and Fochler and de Rijke (2017) should have been to de Rijcke et al. (Reference De Rijcke, Wouters, Rushforth, Franssen and Hammarfelt2015) and Fochler and de Rijcke (Reference Fochler and de Rijcke2017) respectively.

In the following reference, the editor Daraio, C was mistakenly referred to as Cinzia, D:

In Cinzia D and Glänzel W (eds), Evaluative Informetrics: The Art of Metrics Based Research Assessment. Festschrift in Honor of Henk F. Moed. Cham: Springer, pp. 261–286. https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-030-47665-6

Finally, the initials of Rushforth, AD were incorrectly given as Rushforth, FD in the following reference:

De Rijcke, S, Wouters, PF, Rushforth, FD, Franssen, TP and Hammarfelt, B (2015) Evaluation practices and effects of indicator use—a literature review, Research Evaluation 25(2), 161–169. https://doi.org/10.1093/reseval/rvv038
