New Editor-in-Chief of Epidemiology and Psychiatric Sciences

Following a highly competitive international selection process, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Professor Brian J. Hall as the new Editor-in-Chief of Epidemiology and Psychiatric Sciences. Professor Hall is an internationally recognized authority in global mental health and psychiatric epidemiology. He currently serves as a Professor of Global Public Health at NYU Shanghai, where he founded and directs the Center for Global Health Equity. This innovative center drives interdisciplinary research at the intersection of trauma, migration, and mental health, with a focus on culturally informed interventions. Professor Hall has an extensive publication record, exploring critical topics such as refugee and migrant mental health, digital health innovations, and the social determinants of psychological well-being. His unwavering dedication to advancing the field through rigorous science and global collaboration makes him exceptionally well-suited to lead Epidemiology and Psychiatric Sciences into its next chapter.
