Books for review should be sent to the Book Review Editor.
Contributors should keep in mind that they are writing for an academic readership generally knowledgeable about African history, and should relate their findings explicitly to relevant secondary literature. Submission of a manuscript will be taken to imply that it is unpublished and is not being considered for publication elsewhere. Authors of articles published in the journal assign copyright to Cambridge University Press (with certain rights reserved) and, on acceptance of a paper for publication, should submit a copyright assignment form to enable the editing and publication process to get under way. For information on Open Access Policies see here.
Contributors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any material in which they do not hold copyright and for ensuring that the appropriate acknowledgements are included in their manuscript.
