Cambridge Prisms: Carbon Technologies
Editors-in-Chief: Professor F. Pelayo Garcia de Arquer The Institute of Photonic Sciences | Spain and Dr. Cao Thang Dinh Queen's University | Canada
Carbon Technologies focuses on innovative and interdisciplinary research aimed at mitigating the impact of climate change by reducing carbon emissions and their environmental impact. The journal serves as a dynamic platform for scientists, engineers, and policymakers, to collaborate on advancing Carbon Capture, Usage, and Storage (CCUS) technologies. Our goal is to foster breakthroughs that contribute to advance the understanding of CCUS strategies and to enable and accelerate their implementation. Special emphasis is placed on studies and analyses that help bridge the gap between discovery, innovation, and the large-scale implementation in CCUS technologies.

Editor-in-Chief: Professor Tom Spencer University of Cambridge | UK
Coastal Futures explores all aspects of coastal systems, their complexity and how they change over time. It reports on the interactions between physical, biological and social elements and processes, which are unique to coastal regions and which influence, or are influenced by, the coast. In particular, the journal is interested in the dynamics of these interactions and their indications for the future. The scope includes research from within and across the disciplines of physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, human geography, social sciences and law.

Editor-in-Chief: Dr. Eliza Hotchkiss National Renewable Energy Laboratory | USA and Professor George Xydis Arhus University | Denmark
Cambridge Prisms: Energy Transitions aims to explore all aspects of energy systems, their complexity and how they are evolving over time. The journal will delve into the various technologies for energy generation, the evolution of energy systems and the relationship with those systems in terms of their transitions, applications, controls, and innovation. In particular, the journal is interested in the dynamics of the integration and interactions of these systems and implications for the future.

Editors-in-Chief: Professor Barry Brook and Dr John Alroy University of Tasmania and Macquarie University | Australia
Extinction documents species extinction, diversity loss, population processes, mass extinction and human factors, including scientific and social dimensions. It embraces both empirical and theoretical studies, linking patterns to mechanisms and using this knowledge to inform the protection of biodiversity.

Editors-in-Chief: Professor Judy Bass Johns Hopkins University | USA and Professor Dixon Chibanda Friendship Bench Zimbabwe | Zimbabwe
Cambridge Prisms: Global Mental Health (GMH) publishes papers that have a broad application of ‘the global point of view’ of mental health issues. The field of ‘global mental health’ is still emerging, reflecting a movement of advocacy and associated research driven by an agenda to remedy longstanding treatment gaps and disparities in care, access, and capacity. But these efforts and goals are also driving a potential reframing of knowledge in powerful ways, and positioning a new disciplinary approach to mental health. GMH seeks to cultivate and grow this emerging distinct discipline of ‘global mental health’, and the new knowledge and paradigms that should come from it.
GMH invites contributions from a range of disciplines, stakeholders, and research methods in order to achieve its aim. The Editors reflect this diversity, with expertise in areas outside of the traditional ‘mental health’ silos that must be included in order to make global mental health truly ‘global’ in nature.
GMH is now indexed in DOAJ, Scopus and SCI-E.

Editor-in-Chief: Professor Steve Fletcher University of Portsmouth | UK
Plastics is the first international journal covering science and policy topics that underpin the nexus between plastics, human and environmental health, environmental justice, and human rights. It will offer researchers, analysts and policymakers a unique insight into the interplay between plastics, people and nature by providing a platform for the publication and discussion of high-quality interdisciplinary research. The journal publishes on topics that directly explore the urgent and major societal challenges posed by plastics and examine possible solutions.

Editor-in-Chief: Professor Dame Anna Dominiczak University of Glasgow | UK
Precision medicine is an approach to maximise the effectiveness of disease treatment and prevention by taking into account variability in genes, environment and lifestyle. It seeks to redefine our understanding of disease onset and progression, treatment response, and health outcomes through the more precise measurement of molecular, environmental, and behavioural factors that contribute to health and disease. This understanding can lead to diagnoses that are more accurate, to disease prevention strategies that are more rational, to a better treatment selection, and to the development of novel therapies.
