Major depression (MD) is associated with cognitive and behavioral alterations in many domains. It is not well clear what cortical structures and functional alterations characterize MD patients during resting state, a condition during which mind wandering process is prevailing.

In MD patients with severe levels of depression we expected, during resting state, an altered asymmetry of cortical activity in the EEG bands that generally mark neurological impairment, i.e. Delta and Theta EEG bands.

30 MD patients under pharmacological treatment and 32 matched controls underwent an EEG recording (38 scalp sites) during 5 min resting state with open eyes. Eye movements were corrected by ICA modeling and the 5 min recording was divided in 2 sec epochs from which Delta and Theta spectral powers were extracted.

Spectral analysis of the 5 min resting state revealed a significant difference between the two groups at the level of left temporal lobe. MD patients showed larger Delta and Theta spectral power in the left superior temporal gyrus at the level of Brodmann’s Areas 22 and 42.

Results evidenced a cortical inhibition (greater EEG Delta and Theta activity) in left temporal linguistic areas in severe depression, a result pointing to a different mind wandering process and thought architecture in MD patients during resting state.

The Interpersonal Theory of Suicide posits that thwarted belongingness (TB) and perceived burdensomeness (PB) are proximal causes of current suicidal desire, while the acquired capability predicts suicide attempts (Joiner, 2005).

This study examined the psychometric properties of the Interpersonal Needs Questionnaire (INQ-15-I), as a measure of the two constructs, on a sample of 458 Italian university students.

After examining the socio-demographic, clinical and psychosocial characteristics of the sample, we tested the differences in current suicidal ideation and lifetime suicide risk among students. We conducted a confirmatory factor analyses to identify the latent structure of the INQ-15-I and we tested the reliability, criterion concurrent validity and convergent/discriminant validity.

The socio-demographic, clinical and psychosocial features of the sample are in line with the literature on the topic. A two-factor related model with 15 item, showed a good fit to the data and subscales showed excellent internal consistencies (α ≥ 0.84). TB, but mostly PB, were mainly correlated with concurrent suicidal ideation and less with suicidal risk. Divergent validity has emerged with the constructs of the acquired capability. Convergent validity is supported for similar constructs such as depression, low reasons for living, anxiety, interoceptive awareness, psychological pain, loneliness, absence of social support and low self-esteem.

INQ-15-I provides a valid measure of the interpersonal needs among Italian university students by indirectly investigating suicidal risk factors. It also suggest specific clinical intervention areas in suicide prevention. Thus it may be included in suicide risk assessment protocols in Italy.

The concept of paraphrenia was first introduced by Kraeplin and has since been a controversial issue. However, a group of patients still represent a diagnostic problem and many remind us of the initial description of Paraphrenia: “The uncertain group between paranoia and dementia preacox”.

Revisit paraphrenia and to transpose it to modern times.

Clinical report and literature review.

“M”., a 68 yo women with no psychiatric history was admitted in with depressive humor, anhedonia, asthenia and structured delusional ideas of guilt and persecution and auditory hallucinations. Antidepressant therapy improved the mood, but with worsening of the psychotic symptoms. With further exploration it was was clear that the mood disorder was secondary to the psychotic symptoms that arose in insidiously. The family described her as very reserved and suspicious and notice that she abandoned many of her daily tasks. MMSE was 26 points and the laboratory results and the Cranial Computed Tomography were normal. There was little response to antipsychotics and the patient is undergoing electroconvulsive therapy with positive results.

Initially thought to be a depressive episode, the psychotic symptoms were the primary manifestation. Although the insidious installation, structured delusional ideas and the preservation of the affects pointed to a delusional disorder, the presence of auditory hallucinations and gradual loss of functionality are characteristic of schizophrenia. Some authors rejected the classic definition of Paraphrenia, but accepted that schizophrenia in the elderly could assume a paraphrenic form. In this case, the clinical picture and evolution are close to the classical description of the disorder.

Lurasidone is an atypical antipsychotic approved for the treatment of patients with schizophrenia. We report on a meta-analysis focusing on both the efficacy and safety/tolerability of lurasidone in the treatment of patients with schizophrenia.

To obtain pooled estimates from placebo-controlled clinical trials on the efficacy and safety/tolerability of lurasidone in schizophrenia.

We selected acute, randomized placebo-controlled trials of lurasidone for schizophrenia. Primary outcome for efficacy was the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) change and for “acceptability” was all-cause discontinuation. Secondary outcomes included specific adverse events, body weight change, ≥7% weight gain, and glucose and lipid parameter change.

Across 10 RCTs (n=3,963, age=40.5±2.3 years, males=64.7 %, trial duration=6.0 weeks), lurasidone outperformed placebo regarding the PANSS total score (N=10, n=3,354, SMD=-0.34, 95% CI: -0.47−-0.21, p<0.001). Stratifying the analysis by dose, lurasidone significantly outperformed placebo at doses 40-160 mg/day. Lurasidone was associated with significantly lower all-cause discontinuation than placebo (N=10, n=3,410, RR=0.87, 95% CI: 0.78−0.97, p=0.014). Lurasidone had significantly higher body weight change compared with placebo (N=10, n=3,359, SMD=0.17, 95% CI: 0.09−0.24, p<0.001), but without significant differences regarding ≥7% body weight gain (N=9, n=3,186, p=0.112). Lurasidone did not differ from placebo in total cholesterol (N=10, n=3,140, p=0.439), LDL-cholesterol (N=7, n=2,414, p=0.849), triglycerides (N=10, n=3,140, p=0.238), and fasting glucose change (N=10, n=3,112, p=0.633).

In short-term trials, lurasidone was efficacious, acceptable and safe, having minimal effect on body weight gain and glucose and lipid metabolism.

Long-acting injectable antipsychotics (LAIs) are currently the most effective alternative for patients with schizophrenia who exhibit poor adherence. Although a recent meta-analysis reported similar efficacy between first and second-generation LAIs, these results were only based on 3 studies due to the limited number of head-to-head comparisons.

Present the preliminary results of a network meta-analysis on the comparative efficacy of LAIs in schizophrenia.

Studies were obtained from a previous study, where we carried out a systematic search from until May 2019 in various databases. Included trials of adults with schizophrenia compared the efficacy of LAI vs LAI or placebo through the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS). Efficacy was evaluated through the mean differences (MD) from baseline to endpoint in the PANSS total scores. Network meta-analysis was performed in MetaInsight through direct and indirect comparisons using a Bayesian approach.

from 12 studies are presented in Figures 1 and 2. All LAIs except zuclopenthixol were more effective than placebo. There were no significant differences between LAIs except for aripiprazole and risperidone, which were more efficacious than zuclopenthixol. The largest change occurred with aripiprazole LAI, but was not significantly higher than haloperidol.

Preliminary results from a network meta-analysis also suggest that in the long-term haloperidol decanoate is equally effective in overall symptom changes compared to other LAIs. Further analyses are needed to obtain a better perspective on these drugs.

Violence between brothers and / or sisters is one of the most important forms of violence within families. To understand homicides between them, the hypothesis of rivalry has been put forward. But how is it really in reality?

To construct both the clinical and medicolegal profile of perpetrators of fratricide and sororicide.

This is a retrospective study of 12 cases of fratricide, which were examined in the context of criminal psychiatric expertise in the psychiatry department of Hedi Chaker University Hospital in Sfax (Tunisia), between January 2002 and December 2018.

The mean age of offenders was 31.9 years; they were all male. Eight fratricide perpetrators were unmarried and had an irregular occupation. They had a psychiatric follow-up prior to homicide in 5 cases. Previous criminal records were noted in one third of the cases. Three perpetrators of fratricide were using psychoactive substances. History of violence against the victim was presented in 7/12 of cases, and the victim was younger than the perpetrator in 5 cases. Aggression was premeditated in 4 cases. The knife was the most used weapon (11/12). Seven offenders suffered from a major mental illness. The most common diagnosis was schizophrenia (6/12). The experts had concluded that 8 cases were in a state of insanity at the time of the offense.

Our data indicates that fratricides are lack preparation and most often preceded by violence. It seems to be important to do other researches to assess psychopathology and assess risk factors for fratricide.

Major depressive disorder (MDD) is a highly prevalent clinical condition with a leading cause of disability worldwide. Unfortunately, about 1/3 of patients with MDD fail to achieve remission despite treatment with multiple antidepressants and are considered to have treatment-resistant depression (TRD). Research showed abnormalities in glutamatergic transmission in neural circuits and antidepressant efficacy with the N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist, ketamine.

The authors elaborate a narrative literature review on the intranasal esketamine as a new-class antidepressant.

PubMed database searched using the terms “treatment-resistant depression” and “esketamine”.

Ketamine, synthetized from PCP, acts as an antagonist of NMDA receptor, reducing Central Nervous System excitability. One limitation of ketamine for treating depression is that requires intravenous administration, reducing its applicability in outpatient settings. Esketamine, the S-enantiomer of ketamine, developed as an intranasal formulation has a higher affinity for the NMDA receptor. The evidence of the rapid antidepressant effect of intranasal esketamine was first made by Lapidus et al, that demonstrated intranasal esketamine ability to reduce depressive symptomatology. However, some recent studies reported significant acute cardiovascular, psychotomimetic and neurological side-effects. Thus, drug formulation, delivery device, insufflation technique, and individual factors seem to contribute importantly to the tolerability and efficacy of the intranasal administration rote.

There is the need to develop novel treatments providing effective, more rapid-acting, and sustained relief of depressive symptoms, especially in patients with TRD. Intranasal esketamine has shown antidepressant effects in patients with TRD but further investigation is required to strongly reinforce this potential and safety.

The differential diagnosis between Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is often challenging and detrimental to early and timely treatment. Co-current and overlapping symptoms contribute to erode differential diagnostic accuracy, based mainly on clinical assessment supported by standardized instruments and reports from parents and teachers. The microbiota was recently considered a valuable resource in the search for biological markers in neurodevelopmental disorders.

Our objective was to examine the published literature in order to clarify the role of the microbiome as a possible differential biomarker between ASD and ADHD.

Five hundred and sixteen articles were reviewed in order to contextualize the role of Gut- Brain Axis in neurodevelopment and neurodevelopmental disorders, the microbiome as a biomarker and ultimately to unravel microbiome abnormalities reported in patients diagnosed with ASD and/or ADHD.

Although gut microbiome appears to be involved in the pathogenesis of ASD with several reports identifying changes in gut populations and functions, a “microbial signature” is still not reached. In ADHD patients, research confirms that the composition and predicted functions of gut microbiome are also altered, but identically controversial results were found.

Future studies are needed to confirm the relationship between the composition and function of the microbiome and the occurrence or presentation of each of the disorders. A specific signature of the microbiota could then constitute itself as a differential biomarker in ASD and ADHD.

Knowing the leading patterns will help timely predict that addictive behavior is being formed.

To identify the leading patterns of addictive behavior in adolescents in Central Siberia according to the results of the CIAS test.

200 adolescents aged 11-18, 69 males and 131 females, with Internet addiction living in an urban area (Krasnoyarsk) were surveyed. The patterns of addictive behavior were assessed using the CIAS test, which includes scales of key symptoms: “Com” (compulsive symptoms), “Wit” (withdrawal symptoms), “Tol” (tolerance symptoms); and negative consequences scales: “IH” (intrapersonal and health problems), “TM” (problems with time management).

The mean results (M) of key symptoms were obtained at 14.56 on the “Com” scale, 15.27 on the “Wit” scale, 12.23 on the “Tol”. The mean indices of negative manifestations were obtained at 17.00 on the “IH” scale and 13.94 on the “TM” scale. When comparing the mean results of the scales of addicted behavior by the method of one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), statistically significant differences between representatives of different sex and age groups were not revealed (p> 0.05).

The leading key symptoms of Internet-addicted behavior in Central Siberia adolescents include withdrawal symptoms: decreased mood, anxiety and irritation in the absence of access to the Internet. Symptoms of negative consequences include decreased social contacts, reduced communication with family members, and problems at school. When such symptoms emerge, one should suspect the formation of Internet addiction and carry out the necessary diagnostics for timely intervention. A meta-analysis from 2016 estimates prevalence of hepatitis C to be superior in people with severe mental illness than general population. In France, positivity for hepatitis C is estimated at 0,75% of general population and 0.3% with a detectable viral load. No recent study was conducted to determine seroprevalence of hepatitis C in population admitted in psychiatric institution.

The aims of this study are to determine seroprevalence of hepatitis C in population admitted in psychiatric institution and describe the profile of infected patients.

From january 2020 to october 2020, screening test for hepatitis C, hepatitis B and HIV was proposed to every patient admitted at the reception unit of Ravenel Hospital. In case of positivity, viral load was realised.

Between January 7th and Octobre 1st , 407 patients greed to the screening test. Among them, 17 (4,2%) were tested positive to hepatits C and viral load was detectable in 9/17 positives, which lead to a 2,2% seroprevalence of hepatitis C infection in the studied population. The patients with positive screening had a mean age of 40 years old. 82% of them were males. 16 admit using intoxicating substances and 10 were still current users at the time of the study. They were hospitalized for addictology purpose (5/17), psychosis (6/17), mood disorder (5/17), personality disorder (2/17), adjustement disorder (2/7). 10/17 had an alcohol use disorder.

This study confirms seroprevalence of hepatitis C infection in psychiatric population is seven times that of general population. This justifies a systematic screening of this population.

The functional approach to the study of stress resistance allows us to distinguish two blocks of resources – the “active” one, which includes the analysis of the content, conditions, subject and means of labor, and the “personal” one, which considers values, motivation and the expressiveness of personal qualities that contribute to the stress resistance (Granek, Buchman, 2020; Cross, 2019; Powell et al., 2020; Hernández-Marrero, Fradique, 2019).

The objective of our work was to study the relationship between the personal and motivational characteristics of hospice employees with the different symptoms of professional burnout as an indicator of a reduced stress resistance.

62 hospice medical employees with an average work experience of 4,5 years took part in the survey. They were asked to fill out questionnaires to diagnose the burnout symptoms, a motivational personality profile and to assess themselves by the personal semantic differential.

By the means of the procedure for determining the extreme groups (M ± σ), two groups of respondents were identified, which are characterized by different degrees of burnout symptoms. The results of the comparative analysis showed that the less advantaged respondents from the burnout perspective are focused on the life support, comfort, social status, which indicates a certain rationality in the choice of this job.

The portrait of a professionally successful hospice employee includes an orientation towards communication, social and creative activity, which is complemented with independence, confidence and decisiveness – the features that allow carrying out their work in stressful conditions and mainly in uncertain situations.

Some of the most vulnerable psychiatry patients are children under 18, as they can’t protect themselves and their rights from unethical behaviour of mental health professionals. There is a gap between theoretical knowledge and application of ethics at the workplace. Continuous education in ethics is necessary to address this gap.

The objective of the study was to compare various forms of education in ethics and develop training for mental health practitioners.

The study had 2 groups (356 participants, aged 23 to 67, average age – 41.3) – staff of the main and oldest children’s mental health clinic in Moscow, Russia. The control group (124 participants) of mental health professionals received written materials on ethics (such as ethical codes and ethical decision-making protocols). The test group (232 people) participated in a several trainings on ethics. The trainings included 3 parts – discussing the code of ethics, creating examples of potential ethical challenges and role-plays. Participants reported that the topics on the quality of care, common ethical dilemmas and relationships between the practitioners, young patients and legal guardians, were the most helpful for them.

The survey was conducted to evaluate the results. 70.8% of staff members that participated in training shared that they feel confident about applying the Code and the decision-making protocols in unclear cases. Only 32.6% from the control group reported the same level of confidence.

Hands-on training in ethics for continuing education has shown to be more beneficial, as compared to theoretical instructions

In the continuous work to reduce the use of coercion in the psychiatric care, attention in Denmark has especially been directed towards mechanical restraint, i.e. the use of belts to fixate patients to a bed. While the use of mechanical restraint is currently decreasing, increases in other types of coercive acts are observed (e.g., forced medication and hourly episodes of manual restraint). The use of manual restraint refers to mental health workers immobilizing a patient to avoid harm to self or others. Manual restraint is generally considered less intrusive to a patient’s autonomy than the use of mechanical restraint. However, no study has yet explored if it is actually experienced as such by the patients.

This study explores patients’ perspectives on manual and mechanical restraint, respectively.

We are currently performing a qualitative interview study of 10 patients, who have been exposed to both types of coercion. The interviews will be transcribed verbatim and analysed for thematic content.

We expect to discover more nuanced perspectives of the intrusiveness of the different forms of coercion—perspectives that may challenge the assumption that one type of coercion is by default better than another. The study’s results will be presented.

In this study, we only look at two types of coercion. More investigation into the differentiation of patients and ideal type of coercive measure is paramount to the ambitions of a better and more humanistic psychiatric care.

Lithium is an effective mood stabilizer and is widely used as a first-line treatment for bipolar disorder in the perinatal period. Several guidelines have provided clinical advice on dosing strategy (dose reduction versus stop lithium) in the peripartum period to minimize the risk of neonatal complications. An association has been observed between high neonatal lithium concentrations (> 0.64 mEq/L) and lower 1-min Apgar scores, longer hospital stays, and central nervous system and neuromuscular complications.

To quantify the rate of lithium placental passage at delivery. To assess any association between plasma concentration of lithium at delivery and neonatal outcome.

In this retrospective observational cohort study, we included women treated with llithium at least in late pregnancy. Maternal (MB) and umbilical cord (UC) lithium blood level measurement were collected at delivery. Lithium serum concentrations were determined by means of an AVL 9180 electrolyte analyzer. The limit of quantification (LoQ) was 0.20 mEq/L and detection limit was 0.10 mEq/L. From the medical records, we extracted information on neonatal outcomes (preterm birth, birth weight, Apgar scores, pH-values, and admision to NICU) and complications categoriced by organ system: respiratory, circulatory, hematological, gastro-intestinal, metabolic, neurological, and immune system (infections).

Umbilical cord and maternal lithium blood levels were strongly correlated: mean (SD) range UC/MR ratio 1.15 (0.24). Umbilical cord lithium levels ranged between 0.20 to 1.42 mEq/L. We observed no associations between umbilical cord lithium blood levels at delivery and neonatal outcomes.

In our study, newborns tolerated well a wide range of lithemias, between 0.20 and 1.42 mEq/L.

Studies indicated that breast cancer cause alexithymia that having adverse effect on resilience. Recognizing and expressing emotions are very crucial to cope with the difficulties.

This study aimed to examine the role of alexithymia on psychological resilience and related variables in women with breast cancer.

In this descriptive study, 70 women with breast cancer who apply to a medical oncology outpatient between June 2019-February 2020 were included. 9-questions questionnaire was used to determine the sociodemographic and cancer related characteristics of the participants. The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20), Psychological Resilience Scale (PRS) were used to determine perceived social support, alexithymia and psychological resilience levels. Descriptive statistics, correlations, ANOVA and t-test were used for data analysis.

The MSPSS (20.07 ± 10.54) and TAS-20 were found low (47.71 ± 11.96) and PRS were high (132.24 ± 16.47). A negative, weak, significant relationship was found between the alexithymia (r=-0.370, p=0.02) and perceived social support (r=-0.496, p=0.01) with psychological resilience. There was no significant difference between the psychological resilience and age, education level, marital status, having children, profession, employment status, duration of illness, type of treatment, having metastases, and becoming caregiver (p> 0.05).

The psychological resilience of women with breast cancer was negatively related to their alexithymia and perceived social support levels. It indicates that being able to recognize the emotions and having social support systems would positively affect the recovery process.

Internet gaming is acknowledged as a common leisure activity among adolescents yet only a little known about the pscyhodevelopmental roots. Emotion recognition and metacognition which are proved to be determinants in behavioral disorders may be considered salient factors in also internet gaming disorder (IGD).

The research to date has focused on psychological comorbidities rather than risk factors (e.g. dysfunctional metacognitive beliefs, emotion recognition deficits), whereas, improved early intervention would be more likely if risk factors were well defined, especially before the onset of the illness. The objective of this study was to investigate these areas by analyzing associations between metacognitive beliefs, emotion recognition, and IGD among late adolescents with tendency for pathological gaming behavior.

806 high school students were recruited and instructed to take Internet Gaming Disorder Scale (IGDT), Meta-Cognitions Questionnaire for Children and Adolescents (MCQ-C) and Reading the Mind in the Eyes Test - Children’s Version (RMET).

Mean comparisons corresponding to IGD risk potential showed that positive meta-worry and superstitious, punishment, and responsibility beliefs of MCQ-C were significantly higher in the risky group, whereas; RMET neutral subtest was significantly higher in the non-risky group. Additionally, a positive correlation was found in all subtests of MCQ-C, RMET positive emotions and IGD. Regression analysis revealed that RMET positive subtest and positive meta-worry of MCQ-C predict IGD risk.

The findings of the study partially corroborated the early results found among early adolescents; however, they also indicated the requirement of distinct therapeutic approach for cognitive interventions of IGD in late adolescence period.

Classic psychedelics have been administered in sacramental contexts since ancient times. They were of prominent interest within psychiatry and neuroscience in the 1950s to 1960s, but the association between classic psychedelics and the emerging counterculture put an end to their research. Modern research with classic psychedelics has reinitiated interest in the treatment of both cancer-related distress and addiction, with really promising results.

We aim to provide a review about history and new insights regarding research with psychedelics specially as treatment of addictive disorders.

A framing analysis of articles, searched on Pubmed (articles between 2010-2020) with the key words: “ psychedelics”, “psilocybin”, “substance use disorder”, “addiction”.

Classic psychedelics are 5HT2AR agonists such as LSD, mescaline, and psilocybin. They were shown to occasion mystical experiences, which are experiences reported throughout different cultures and religions involving a strong sense of unity. These experiences are scientifically important because they appear to cause abrupt and sustained changes in behavior and perception, that can be very useful in the substance use disorder field. From this analysis is possible to understand that the use of psychadelics in the treatment of some addictions is currently at an early stage of research. However, they show interesting results with no clinically significant adverse events when risk individuals are excluded.

In comparison to psychedelic research about cancer-related psychological distress, studies with addictions are less developed, but if they continue to suggest safety and efficacy, may be the use of psilocybin for the treatment of specific addiction can happen in a close future.

In response to the treatment gap for anxiety and depressive disorders, psychological treatments with innovative modalities and high implementation potential are essential. Internet CBT (iCBT) is a cost/effective approach that could improve access to a low-intensity evidence-based CBT intervention.

To assess the feasibility and acceptability of the French adaptation of the physician-prescribed six-lesson This Way Up transdiagnostic iCBT program for mixed anxiety and depressive disorders developed in Australia.

Feasibility study with pre- post-intervention evaluations, including an embedded qualitative study in Family Medicine Groups (Quebec, Canada). Inclusion criteria comprise a family physician diagnosis of Major Depression, Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Social Anxiety Disorder or Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Primary self-reported outcomes: PHQ-9 (depression) and GAD-7 (anxiety); secondary measures include diagnostic-specific scales and health service utilisation.

Family physicians (N=21) from five Family Medicine Groups prescribed iCBT to 45 patients (30 women, 15 men; mean age = 39.7), 31 initiated the program. To date, 20 patients completed 5 or 6 lessons, nine completed between 2 and 4. Intervention and post-treatment assessments are ongoing, results forthcoming. Results of semi-structured interviews with patients (N=15) and family physicians (ongoing) on iCBT acceptability indicate it is beneficial, practical and easy to use. Program adherence requires patient readiness and determination and could be fostered by motivational support from clinicians.

Results support this French iCBT program’s scaling-up potential to contribute to reducing the gap in evidence-based treatments for common mental disorders. Its implementation in primary care could improve the effectiveness, efficiency and equity to a rapidly accessible treatment.

Anorexia nervosa is often associated with the development of depressive disorders.

Skillful dissimulation of the true causes of fasting in adolescents leads to diagnostic errors and delayed adequate therapy.

The study design includes clinical psychopathological, somatic-neurological, and psychological methods for examination of 54 adolescent girls aged 12-14, with a recurrent depression, and factors determine disorders in alimentary behavior (anorexia nervosa) in teen-agers. The following psychological tests were performed: Children’s Depression Rating Scale Revised, Columbia - Suicide Severity Rating Scale, Mendelevitch - Yakhin Scale to establish a neurotic state.

in all adolescent girls with anorexia nervosa depressive disorders were present in prepuberty. Behavioral syndrome and aggressive vulnerability prevailed in the structure of depression. Cognitive component was represented in the form of unstable type of poor memory and decreased rate of sensorimotor reactions with episodic recurrent attacks of bulimia. Our model of therapeutic intervention included: behavioral intervention, intravenous administration of Cerebrolysin 10,0 with 0,9 % Sodium chloride 200,0 (No.15). Therapeutic neuroplasticity, multimodal effect, and a disease - modifying therapy effects in short terms provide regression of emotional-cognitivity.

In adolescent girls with a recurrent depression anorexia nervosa has specific features that require early differentiation, neurotropic and neurodegenerative therapy.
