Files required post-acceptance
Should your manuscript be accepted for publication in JFLS, you will be required to send the files in the following format:
- Title page – a separate word document file to main text, containing author names, affiliations, contact author email address, abstract (in French and English), competing interests declaration and any acknowledgements or funding as applicable.
- Main document – as a word document file. Tables and Figures should NOT be included in the body of the text, but you may indicate where they should ideally be located. Figure legends should be included at the end of the manuscript text. The main document should not have any tracked changes or highlighting showing revisions.
- Tables – each as a separate word file.
- Figures - each as a separate file, for accepted file types please see the Journals Artwork Guide.
Please note that all final files should be submitted in both PDF and Word formats.
You will receive an email from the Editorial Office explaining how to upload these files to http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/jfl.

For more information about how production works at Cambridge University Press, please see our information on publishing an accepted paper, which explains how an article goes from accepted manuscript to fully published. There may be small differences between journals with this process. You can also check our Journal Production FAQs.
